This is our journey to China to adopt our daughter, Storie. We have waited two long years to get to this point. We have had many ups and downs along the way. There have been many sleepless nights, tears, and fights. To say we didn't think about throwing in the towel would not be the truth. Somehow, though ,we knew our family was not yet complete. Somewhere in China a baby girl was waiting to find us. Please join us as we embark on this journey to meet our daughter.

Congratulations! She is absolutely adorable. Wanted to put in 2 cents - we stayed in the same type of room at the White Swan as you and we got a rollaway for our teenage son (who was about 5'9" at the time) and it was very comfortable for him - put it in the 'living room' up against the french doors that go to bedroom. We did have to pay extra (can't recall how much), but it might be cheaper than the chiropracter. :o)
Hang in there with the grieving. The good news is that if Storie can attach once like that to her foster parents, she can do it again with the real deal. It is heartbreaking to watch the process, though. Thanks for sharing your journey!
