This will be fast so pay close attention:
Climbed Great Wall. Very arduous. Feet tired. Scratch that...every single part of my anatomy tired. Might as well tell you all now that Julie and Shelby smoked me going up the Wall (I figured you'd find out sooner or later). I'm a wimp.
Visited jade store. Very cool but I could buy a Lexus with the $ they wanted for the stuff (although it was impressive).
We soon went to lunch and had...well, I'm not exactly sure what everything was. Stomache churned. Washed it all down with a Sprite. Looking forward to popping my antibiotic when I get back to the hotel.
Made our way to the Summer Palace...to walk even more. Yippee. Beautiful sights made up for the searing pain in our legs and the sheer exhaustion we felt, however. Took plenty of pics. Will post later.
Back onto the bus (for the 50th time today) for the NASCAR race back to the hotel. I swear that our driver would win the Indy 500 on his first try. Antibiotic taken. Shelby is extremely pooped out and is sleeping peacefully as I write. Julie just dozed off too. In my bed. She will be wakened momentarily and booted into bed with Shelby. Hey, I need the room, so back off. Wimps require more sleep than the typical human. Seriously. Look it up.
Look forward to posting pics ASAP. Shelby will be posting soon on the blog. Perhaps in the next few days. Regardless of the blogger, we will holler at you all soon. Stomache churning again. Must go now. Until we blog again......

So glad to hear that you made it okay and that the airplane ride was uneventful. The pics are great - it looks like you are having a good time. I can't wait to hear about the food choices. Unbelievable. Well Julie we (your weekend group at FMC) missed you this past weekend and kept checking in on the post. We are all excited for you. Cindy wanted to encourage you to be brave on your menu selections. Take in some of the culture....... you know she would...!! Yeah, whatever. Can't wait to tune in later. Have fun and take care.
